What is a Professional Visit Pass?

The Professional Visit Pass (PVP) is a short-term work permit issued to foreign technical experts or professionals to provide specific services in Malaysia for a temporary period.

The key distinction of a PVP is that the individual remains on the payroll of their home country company and is not legally an employee of the Malaysian company.

Who is it for?

• Technical Experts: Machinery installation, repair, or specialized technical consultancy.

• Audit & Consultants: External auditors or business consultants.

• Interns: International students undergoing industrial training in Malaysia.

• Religious/Artists: Performers, filming crews, or religious speakers.
